I've had the best results with using the newest GE-Proton7-53 version. Most important is to point the XENIA variable to the xenia_canery executable, so in my case on the SD card it is XENIA="/run/media/mmcblk0p1/Emulation/roms/xbox360/xenia_canary.exe" Open the newly created xenia.sh with KWrite (right click -> open with KWrite) and replace everything what has a reference to Cemu in it with Xenia.Copy the cemu.sh and renme the copy to xenia.sh.Emulation/tools/launchers/ (SD card full path => /run/media/mmcblk0p1/Emulation/tools/launchers/) Easiest is to orientate ourselves on the Cemu launcher. We have to make a new launcher tool for Xenia.Part 2: Setting up the EmuDeck Steam Rom Manager: Remove the xenia_canary.exe from your steam library, we do not need this anymore. Also change " license_mask = 1" (default is set to 0). Open the with KWrite and adjust the " gpu" setting from "any" to " vulkan".roms/xbox360/ directory where we have placed the xenia_canary.exe before If everything worked correctly you should have a new config file "" in the.Launch the Xenia with click on play, wait until it has fully started and then exit.Under COMPATIBILITY tick "Force the use of a specific Steam Play compatibility tool" and chose either "Proton Experimental" or "Proton 7.0-4" Launch steam if it isn't running already and go to the xenia_canary.exe in your library, click the config wheel and select preferences.Add xenia_canary.exe as a non steam game (we have to only run it once => remove again after). In the same directory right click and create a new text file with the name "portable.txt" -> Xenia needs this to create a config file later on.roms/xbox360/ directory -> if you are using an SD card and have installed EmuDeck on there the whole path is /run/media/mmcblk0p1/Emulation/roms/xbox360/ Extract zip and place the whole content into your.Switch into desktop mode and download the newest Xenia Canary (xenia_canary.zip) release from github -> HERE.Part I: Install and config Xenia Canary emulator: Don't worry, it ain't that hard - I've grouped the tutorial in two parts: First one being the install and config of the Xenia emulator itself, second is setting up the Steam Rom Manager from EmuDeck It serves as a guide getting games to run you legally own!įirst off, it seems like Xenia hasn't been fully integrated into EmuDeck yet, so best to grab the newest version manually and write a small launcher for it. Currently wonderfully running the XBLA edition of the " Bear and the Bird" via GE-Proton7-53 version.ĭISCLAIMER: This post should not promote any kind of piracy. Not sure if this has been fully documented, but just wanted to share my Xenia Xbox 360 emulation setup & experience.
